The Dubuque area offers a variety of programs and degrees at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary, Divine Word Seminary, Wartburg Theological Seminary, and Emmaus Bible College. Each institution has a long history in theological education along with traditional programs and some new offerings for the 2023-24 school year.
University of Dubuque Theological Seminary (UDTS)
Originally founded in 1852 to reach out to German settlers flocking into the area, today the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary (UDTS) – one of the ten official seminaries of the Presbyterian Church – offers several programs and degrees to students worldwide.
