Bell Tower Theater Announces 11th-Annual High School Musical

The Bell Tower Theater, your hometown theater, is excited to announce its 11th-annual Free Summer Musical Program: High School Edition show. This summer some of the area’s most talented high school performers will perform Urinetown, directed by Bell Tower Theater Artistic Associate Michelle Blanchard.

This Tony Award-Winning musical pokes fun at capitalism, bureaucracy and musical theater itself. After a severe water shortage leads to a ban on private toilets, an evil corporation monopolizes all the public amenities. Tired of being charged admission for humanity’s basic needs, a hero rises up to overthrow the tyrannical movement. Filled with witty humor, fast-paced action, and a star-crossed love story, Urinetown is sure to keep you laughing. Performers will be high school kids from throughout the area.

The Bell Tower Theater is conveniently located in Fountain Park at 2728 Asbury Road in the city’s vibrant West End just minutes from both Highway 20 and the Northwest Arterial. The performances of Urinetown are June 21, 22, 27, 28, 29 at 7:30 PM and June 23 & 30 at 2 PM. Tickets for all performances are $15.
