Iowa Travel Industry Partners (iTIP), the leading statewide association of the tourism and hospitality industry, held their inaugural iTIP Awards on Monday, June 12, 2023, in Cedar Falls. In attendance to accept awards for Dubuque area winners was Craig Purcell, Manager of Visitor Experiences for the Field of Dreams Movie Site, and Travel Dubuque VP of Community Engagement Carrie Koelker for her honors.
The Field of Dreams Movie Site is the recipient of the only in Iowa Award. This award recognizes a business, organization, or destination that makes the state of Iowa unique, noteworthy, and proud.
Legislator of the Year was presented to Carrie Koelker, Travel Dubuque VP of Community Engagement, and Senate District 33 for actively supporting legislation that bolsters the economic impact that tourism produces for the state.
The iTIP Awards are open to all individuals, private businesses, for-profit and nonprofit organizations offering a tourism and/or hospitality service in Iowa.
