It’s that time of year. This month sees the opening of numerous fairs in the Dubuqueland area. A county fair is an ideal activity, a perfect place to meet friends or a special date. Below is a sampling of what’s happening where and when across the region.
Local county fairs are a place to exhibit the finest agricultural products produced, but it was also a time for families to spend an afternoon, evening or week together having fun. You don’t have to look very far when entering the grounds of these county fairs to see families experiencing whatever their interest may be.
