Philanthropy by Design – How ‘Interiors… by Design’ is Making Dreams Come True

“I’ve been blessed, and I feel it’s my obligation if I can, to give back. I’ve tried to do that through the years; its a business philosophy, and a personal philosophy,” said David Tranel, owner of Interiors…by Design, a local interior design showroom. Tranel has created a number of philanthropic initiatives to serve those in need within the Dubuque community through charitable contributions.

“We have tremendous local organizations here. Dubuque is so lucky to have the dedicated people and charities that we do to serve the people who need it most.”

With a solid history of philanthropy within the Dubuque community over its nearly 30 years in business, it was during the height of the pandemic – with need the greatest – that Tranel and his staff at Interiors…by Design created three distinct charitable programs aimed at helping meet the unprecedented need that arose out of uncertain times.
