The enchanting sounds of the holiday season will resonate this year with an extra dose of festive magic as the Mistletones® collaborate with the historic Hotel Julien Dubuque for the 14th installment of SNOWBIZ® with this year’s theme: FOREVER CHRISTMAS.
This eagerly anticipated event unfolds with not one, but two dazzling shows on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the historic Hotel Julien Dubuque, nestled at 200 Main Street, Dubuque, IA. Both shows promise an unforgettable evening of music, merriment, and holiday cheer, presented in an intimate dinner-theatre style that welcomes the public to join in the celebration.
SNOWBIZ® features outstanding vocals, a live jazz band, and scrumptious holiday food and drink and will debut a new arrangement of The Little Drummer Boy written for the band by the tri-states own Terry Dillon that will feature locals Masa Iwasaki on drums and Dave Richter on bass. SNOWBIZ® represents some of the best musicians in the Tri-State area, including Dubuque, Iowa: singers Cathy Goodman, Abby Foley, Tori Richter, Jake Tebbe, and Mark Oppedahl, and band members Dave Richter (bass) and Masa Iwasaki (drums); Platteville, Wisconsin, Terry Dillon (keyboards) and Ken Kilian (saxophone); Lancaster, Wisconsin, brothers Larry and Marty Busch (trumpet and trombone), and Galena, Illinois: Gary Kirst (trumpet).
