Find the perfect holiday gift at the Art @ your library® Holiday Show which opens Friday, December 1 with unique art from fourteen local artists surrounding the Library’s Victorian-themed 18-foot Christmas tree. Local artists featured are Lyndal Anthony, Catherine Basten, John Bly, Peggy Jo Brekke, Gail Chavenelle, Gary Fagan, Bob Felderman, John Freitag, Ellen Henkels, Thomas Kedzie, Merlan Marting, Joan Overhouse, Deb Otto, and Mercedes Pfab. Get in the holiday cheer with art themes including beautiful Dubuque scenes, a variety of animals (including fish and eagles), Christmas, and nature scenes. Enjoy a variety of oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, sculptures made of both wood and metal, and photography.
The show is open to the public during Library hours on the second floor of the library.
