The Dubuque Symphony Orchestra (DSO) announces its annual fundraiser, Pursuit of the Podium. Three local individuals have been chosen to compete in this year’s fundraiser. The contestant that raises the most money on behalf of the DSO between April 1 and June 19 will conduct one piece at the DSO’s Holiday Concerts, December 2-3, 2023.
Contestants include Nicole Gantz, Erin Dragotto, and Tom Yunt. Profiles of each contestant can be found on the symphony’s website.

The Pursuit of the Podium winner and total amount raised will be announced at the Summer Melodies concert at the Dubuque Arboretum on Sunday, June 25. 2023.
Pursuit of the Podium supports a variety of initiatives consistent with the DSO’s mission. The DSO serves approximately 20,000 people each year. Thirty-seven community leaders have participated and raised more than $237,000.
