Members of the Dubuque Arts Council, a nonprofit organization that promotes arts and art education, are pleased to announce that they are the recipients of two COVID-related grants: Iowa Cares Act Grant and Iowa Arts and Culture Recovery Program Grant. Grant monies will assist the council in continuing its mission of connecting outstanding performers with area schoolchildren, along with providing community-wide entertainment with its Music in the Gardens programming. Council members are grateful for the support of state and federal legislators, who recognized the need for and facilitated the grants.
