Storefront to Move to Stone Building at Sinsinawa Mound
The Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa are in the process of downsizing their building space usage at Sinsinawa Mound. The building that houses the Sinsinawa Book & Gift Gallery is in negotiations to transfer ownership from Sinsinawa Dominicans, Inc., to Tricon Construction Group, and Tricon plans to develop a senior living community and event center at the Mound. After Feb. 29, the Sinsinawa Book & Gift Gallery will pause both in-store and online sales until a new storefront is created in the Stone Building in 2025. Sinsinawa Book & Gift Gallery will remain open for business at its current location and online Tuesday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM. for the remainder of February, and most products are being offered at deeply discounted prices to help reduce inventory.
“As a Congregation, we’re working diligently on right-sizing our space usage at Sinsinawa,” said Sister Christina Heltsley, OP, Prioress of the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa.
