New Faces At Grand River Medical Group (GRMG)

Dr. K. Martin has been in the Dubuque community since 2016 working as a family medicine physician. He is excited to continue caring for his patients from a new location and as a part of GRMG. He will be located at our Family Medicine Clinic.

Dr. K. Martin completed his family medicine residency program at Trinity Hospital in Bettendorf, IA. He attended Western University COMP in Pomona, CA where he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. He enjoys caring for patients of all ages, helping manage acute illnesses and chronic conditions alike. He also finds a special joy working in collaboration with patients to optimize their health and putting together sustainable long term care plans with an emphasis on wellness as they move through life.

Dan Troutner, PA-C, joins the GRMG team working full time for the Acute and Urgent Care Network. Dan grew up in Marshalltown, IA and completed his undergraduate education at the University of Iowa for psychology and nuclear medicine technology. Prior to his return to Iowa to attend the University of Dubuque Physician Assistant Program he was a nuclear technologist in Illinois. He began practicing as a physician assistant in an emergency services rotation in Wisconsin and Illinois while continuing to live in Dubuque

Katie Ruff, ARNP, joins the GRMG team working PRN for the Acute and Urgent Care Network. Katie graduated from University of Dubuque in 2013 with her bachelor’s in nursing. She worked for 6 years as an ER nurse before graduating from Clarke University with her Doctorate in Nursing Practice specializing in Family Practice in 2019. Katie has spent the last 2 years working as a Nurse Practitioner in family practice.

Elizabeth Edwards, ARNP, joins the GRMG team working PRN for the Acute and Urgent Care Network. She is originally from Sheboygan, WI. She attended the University of Dubuque where she received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. In her free time she enjoys cooking, running, and spending time outdoors.
