Discounted Trees Offered for Dubuque Residents

The City of Dubuque Sustainability office is partnering with Dubuque Trees Forever and local nurseries to offer Dubuque residents discounts for trees and the opportunity to participate in climate action at the local level. Dubuque residents interested in receiving a discount for a tree from a local nursery must attend a one-hour information session for tree-planting training and to learn more on how trees impact climate action. Registration is not required, and residents may choose one of two remaining session that will be offered from 6-7 p.m. at the Carnegie-Stout Library Program Room on the main floor on Thursday, Sept. 29.

There are 10 of the $250, 22 of the $125, and 46 of the $25 coupons remaining. Residents living in moderate-to-lower income areas with minimal tree canopies qualify for the higher dollar amount coupons. For more information, contact Sustainability Coordinator Gina Bell at GBell@cityofdubuque.org or call 563.690.6038.
