Holy Family’s “Eagles Give Day” Raises $53,000 for the Student Impact Fund

With support from alumni, school families, and community friends, Holy Family Catholic Schools’ sixth-annual online giving event, Eagles Give Day, raised $53,000 in 24 hours. The celebratory online fundraising event took place during National Catholic Schools Week, from noon on Wednesday, Feb. 2, through noon the following day. During that time, Holy Family engaged with supporters on social media and other electronic platforms to promote various sponsor-funded giving challenges.

The funds raised by Eagles Give Day are directed toward the Holy Family Student Impact Fund, which provides the unrestricted income needed to support the day-to-day operations and needs of our students and schools. The Student Impact Fund has a goal of $1.25 million this year.

Director of Institutional Advancement Bob Noel expressed heartfelt appreciation to the many contributors who made the day a success. He was especially grateful to the Eagles Give Day sponsors Sedona Staffing Services and StackStone Wealth, and to the challenge hour sponsors Chad Ellis Construction, Dubuque Mattress Factory, Environmental Management Services of Iowa, Fidelity Bank & Trust, and Tschiggfrie Excavating.”
