Every family has slightly different traditional holiday fare, but we are pulling from our own favorite family traditions for this edition.

Starting with appetizers, we always had a snack table while the ladies all converged in the kitchen to pull together our magnificent Christmas feast.

When I was young, our family spread was pretty classic Nebraska fare: deviled eggs, a relish tray consisting of carrot sticks, celery, sweet pickles and olives, and my personal favorite, the ham dill pickle roll-ups. So we put a bit of a twist on this holiday classic, while keeping it quick and easy. Plus, little ones have fun helping put these together.
