Dubuque Community YMCA/YWCA Expands Hours For Pickleball

In response to players’ request and increasing popularity of pickleball, the Dubuque Community YMCA/YWCA offers additional hours for open pickleball play. The Y provides nets and equipment free-of-charge to members and guests may play for a $10 drop-in fee.

Pickleball Schedule

Double Court
Monday, Wednesday, Friday – 8:30-10:00 a.m.
Thursday – 12:30-2:00 p.m.

Times and availability may change due to holidays, snow days, early school dismissal, etc.

Single Court
Monday, Wednesday, Friday – 7:30-8:30 a.m. & 9:45-11:00 a.m.
Tuesday, Thursday – 10:00-11:30 a.m.

Pickleball is a low-impact sport that combines the elements of ping pong, tennis, and badminton. The game is played by 2 or 4 people on a badminton-sized court using paddles and lightweight plastic ball which resembles a small whiffle ball.
