The historic Five Flags Center has been at the heart of Dubuque’s entertainment scene for over a century, but some say it’s also home to something much more mysterious. Built in 1910 as the Majestic Theatre, this iconic venue has long been the subject of eerie tales, with staff and visitors reporting strange occurrences—footsteps echoing through empty hallways, ghostly shadows moving in the wings, and unexplained cold spots that send a chill down the spine.
While the building’s grand architecture has been lovingly restored, these ghostly rumors persist, adding an extra layer of intrigue to its storied past. What better place, then, for paranormal expert Amy Bruni to share her knowledge of the supernatural? On October 24, Bruni—star of Kindred Spirits and Ghost Hunters—will visit the Five Flags Theater to explore the unknown and discuss her experiences investigating haunted locations across the country.
