TeamWine met around the winebox table at EJ’s Wine Shop on a Sunday afternoon to enjoy and taste this month’s wines. Our wines, both from the same Oregon winery whose winemakers are driven by the styles and methodologies of Germany. Teutonic Wine Company only grows and produces cooler weather varietals, which work well in Oregon’s climate. They use natural farming practices and minimal intervention. Proprietors Olga & Barnaby Tuttle, have an interesting story of how they got into the wine business, but the end result is a nice selection of very refreshing wine.
