It was my extreme pleasure to share time with Sarah Goedhart, Head Winemaker for Hedges Family Estate Winery since 2015. Sarah is the daughter of Tom and Anne-Marie Hedges, owners of Hedges Family Estate. Hedges Family Estate Winery, whose first vintage was in 1987-1988, is located on the west side of Red Mountain in Benton City, Washington. Red Mountain is thought by many to be the preeminent red grape AVA (American Viticulture Area) in Washington State.
