Pizza Ranch Offers Great Food and Gives Back to the Community

To the average person, Pizza Ranch may seem like a typical family restaurant where diners can get a good meal that pleases the entire family, but if you look beyond the western décor and through the buffet line, a story of faith and love emerges. Through crispy chicken and cheesy pizza, Pizza Ranch’s ultimate goal is to Glorify God and give back to the community by not only serving up dinner, but also providing several ways to give back to the community.

Pizza Ranch’s humble beginnings go back to a nineteen-year-old boy in Hull, Iowa, by the name of Adrie Groeneweg. On December 21, 1981, Groeneweg’s father Bill encouraged him to open the first ranch, which became such a success, that in 1984 he was asked to franchise. This Pizza Pie in the sky dream has now expanded to more than two hundred franchise locations spanning fourteen states.
