I have to say, there are so many beverage-based products claiming all sorts of fantastic and wonderful things. They will give you clarity, brightness, longer nails, healthier hair, and the list goes on. Not unlike the traveling “tincture” or snake oil salesperson.
“Dr. So-and-so has this fabulous liquid of amazement!”
You can go into any gas mart and find komubcha, energy drinks, and teas all claiming health benefits. This is not to say there are not products on the market that are good for you; but as a consumer, you must be diligent in looking at the labels of beverages you are consuming.
