UnityPoint Health – Visiting Nurse Association in Dubuque will be seeing patients at their new location at 660 Iowa St. on Monday, August 12. The new facility will result in more services and clinical care space for patients. In order to prepare for the move, the VNA will be closed to patients between August 2 and August 12.
Earlier this year, the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA), currently located at 1454 Iowa St., announced the move to 660 Iowa St. (formerly Anytime Fitness) noting the new space offered several enhanced features expected to improve the patient experience.
The new building, located in the heart of downtown, is right on the bus line – which was a must for meeting the health needs of Dubuque county residents. The building is also fully ADA accessible and compliant. The VNA will have five private clinic rooms, enhanced for patient privacy. All 27 VNA team members will have dedicated work space in the new building. A conference room was included in the plans to host educational sessions or community workshops that address the important health needs of the community.
