The Red Basket Project is the recipient of a grant from the Dubuque Racing Association in the amount of $5,620 to continue providing period products to the Dubuque Community School District.
Established in 2016, The Red Basket Project strives to ensure each period is met with products, despite personal or financial need. In the school district, the nonprofit provides “privacy packs,” which include period products for one monthly cycle in a fabric privacy bag.
Any staff member of the Dubuque Community School District in need of period products to provide to their students can contact Gilbreath at 563-542-5933.
