Medical Associates is pleased to announce the arrival of Aaron (Scott) Whitney, PhD, to the Psychiatry and Psychology Department. Dr. Whitney received his Doctorate in Child Clinical Psychology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL, Master of Arts in Child Clinical Psychology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL, and B.S. in Biology and B.A. in Psychology from Duke University, Durham, NC.
As a member of Medical Associates Psychiatry and Psychology department, Dr. Whitney will provide thorough diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapy for the full spectrum of mental health diagnoses. He will also conduct diagnostic assessments that may involve psychological and/or cognitive testing, such as the assessment of personality disorders, behavior problems, learning disabilities, dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, and intellectual disability.
Medical Associates Clinic would also like to announce that Stephanie Finch, DO, has successfully passed the 2022 Internal Medicine Certification Examination and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
Certification by the ABIM is a significant achievement that represents the highest standard in Internal Medicine with demonstration of clinical judgment, skills, and attitudes essential for excellent patient care.
Dr. Finch joined Medical Associates Clinic in August 2022, where she provides care to patients while they are in the hospital and work closely with patients, families, and physicians to deliver expert inpatient medical treatment.
