Hendrik Schultz, MD, has accepted the position of Chief Medical Officer for Medical Associates Clinic and Health Plans. In this role, Dr. Schultz is responsible for physician leadership and clinical quality throughout all Clinic and Health Plan operations.
Dr. Schultz joined Medical Associates in 2010 as a Hospitalist, where he worked closely with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff to deliver expert inpatient medical treatment.
Dr. Schultz received his medical degree from Eberhard-Karls-University in Tübingen, Germany. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Lubeck, Germany. Dr. Schultz also completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Iowa, where he was an associate faculty member.
