MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center nurse Cori Foley, BSN, RN, is among the 100 Great Iowa Nurses named for 2019. Cori cares for patients on the skilled nursing unit at MercyOne Dubuque.
The 100 Great Iowa Nurses award recognizes nurses who have made meaningful, lasting contributions to their patients, colleagues, and the nursing profession and are viewed as mentors to other nursing professionals. Nurses selected for this honor represent many sectors of health care, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, schools, and physician offices across the state. Nominations are submitted by colleagues, patients, friends, and family members. A committee comprised of members from the Iowa Nurses Association, the Iowa Nurses Foundation, the Iowa Hospital Association, and the University of Iowa College of Nursing select the final recipients.
The 15th annual 100 Great Iowa Nurses celebration will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2019, in Des Moines. The 2019 honorees will gather with families, friends, and colleagues to be recognized for their outstanding careers and achievements. For more information, visit GreatNurses.org.
