The MercyOne Dubuque Cancer Center is officially open, with its first patients welcomed into the center for care on Monday, June 1, 2020. MercyOne is excited to offer a new model of care delivery for patients with cancer in Dubuque and the surrounding area. For the first time, people facing this life changing disease will have access to comprehensive, coordinated cancer care in one location.
“We are grateful for the outpouring of support we have received in advancing this important vision for Dubuque and the communities we serve, and we look forward to expanding and enhancing care for the one-in-three people and their loved ones affected by this disease for many, many years to come,” said Kay Takes, president of the eastern Iowa region of MercyOne.
