At the virtual version of the Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting on Thursday, June 25, Hills & Dales was named the first ever Grand Prize Winner of “Coolest Places to Work.” Hills & Dales also received the award for the Large Business Category. The announcement and awards coincided with the organization’s Annual Employee Recognition Week
After Hills & Dales was nominated for this award by employees, at least 60% of Dubuque based employees completed a survey on the values of the organization and their experiences as an employee. All surveys from all organizations nominated were analyzed and the Chamber then released the Top 17 organizations across all categories.
The Large Business Category included any organization with more than 100 employees. Hills & Dales is proud to currently employ over 460 employees and support 200 individuals with disabilities, among other programs supporting children and adults of all abilities.
