Dr. Andrew Bland joins Grand River Medical Group from Illinois where he was an Associate Professor of Clinic Medicine and Pediatrics. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria and completed his nephrology fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He is board certified in general pediatrics, internal medicine, and nephrology. Dr. Bland most recently traveled to New York to assist the care team at NYU Langone, in Brooklyn, New York treating COVID-19 patients on the nephrology service.
With the addition of Dr. Bland, the nephrology team will be able to provide additional services within the tri-state area at the Nephrology & Hypertension Clinic in Dubuque, IA and the nephrology outreach clinics in Manchester and Clinton, IA.
