Medical Associates Clinic is pleased to announce that Theresa Hughes, DPM, CWSP, has passed the Wound Care Certification Exam and is now Board Certified in Wound Care from the American Board of Wound Management.
Dr. Hughes has been with Medical Associates Clinic since December 2015. She received her Medical Degree from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, OH, and completed her residency at Community General Hospital in Thomasville, NC. Dr. Hughes is certified by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry, General, and Foot and Ankle Surgery. She provides medical and surgical care for a wide variety of diseases and disorders of the foot.
Medical Associates Clinic is also pleased to announce that Hendrik Schultz, MD, FACP, FHM, has passed the Internal Medicine with Focused Practice in Hospital Medicine Maintenance of Certification (MOC) exam from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
Dr. Schultz has been with Medical Associates Clinic since July 2010. He received his medical degree from Eberhard-Karls University Tuebingen in Germany, and completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Luebeck in Germany. He also completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Iowa.
Jacob Hiatt, DO, has been certified with the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).
The Family Medicine Certification process is a continuous process that requires being in compliance with Guidelines for Professionalism Licensure and Personal Conduct including maintaining a valid state medical license at all times, completing certification activities in a timely fashion, and performing successfully on the Family Medicine Certification examination every ten years.
Dr. Hiatt has been with Medical Associates Platteville Clinic since June of 2019. He provides a complete range of medical care including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
