Everyone has a favorite Christmas or winter holiday memory. It’s that special December experience that you still recall years later. It’s that amazing Christmas Eve or Christmas morning, the gift you weren’t expecting, the snow that fell to add to the magic of the season. Some of the folks who put together Julien’s Journal, CHOICES For Fifty Plus and Tri-State Home TRENDS have agreed to share their favorite memories.

“There’s one Christmas tradition in my family that goes back to when I was young, certainly before high school. One Christmas Eve, my mom made lasagna. It was such a big hit with the family that she started making lasagna every year on Christmas Eve. Then Terri and I started dating. Finally, we’d been dating long enough that she came out to our place on Christmas Eve, and we served our traditional lasagna dinner. Terri liked it so much that she’s been making lasagna every Christmas Eve since we’ve been married, and that’s 37 years now. Neither one of us is Italian, but it’s been a fun tradition.”
“I also remember how much fun Christmas Eve and Christmas morning were for several years when the Josh and Casey were young. Watching them and the joy that they experienced always gave me such a contented feeling. It was like life couldn’t be any better than it was at that moment.”
