Community Health Report

May is our Community Health Report month. Local hospitals and medical centers are represented in this issue with health information on expansion, technology, people and programs that keep our community physically and mentally healthy.

Your chosen health center and primary care provider are your resource for mind and body health. They listen, coordinate with other providers, and do their best to determine your best path to a good life.

This month we hear about Southwest Health’s expansion in Kieler, Wisconsin after seeing a significant increase in the number of people needing immediate care. PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is now available at Medical Associates as a treatment for common injuries. We also hear about MercyOne Dubuque’s continued effort to raise the bar on healthcare quality, UnityPoint Health’s lifesaving cardiac care, Grant Regional Health Center’s groundbreaking in Fennimore, WI, Crescent Community Health Center’s vision for equity in enhancing and expanding their wellness center, and Unified Therapy’s physical therapy solutions.
