The Grand Opera House is excited to announce a new film series, Family Movie at The Grand, that will have its first screening Friday, May 17 at 6:30 PM.
The Grand Opera House is happy to host its first Family Movie Night at The Grand with a screening of the 2023 film Wonka. Based on a story by Paul King, Wonka tells the origin story of Willy Wonka, a character in the 1964 novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl, depicting his early days as a chocolatier. The film stars Timothée Chalamet as the title character, with an ensemble cast including Calah Lane, Keegan-Michael Key, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Mathew Baynton, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, Olivia Colman, and Hugh Grant.
Admission to Wonkais free at the door on May 17. Doors will open at 5:45 PM, with seating limited to 600.
