The annual Spring Garden Seminar is open to the public and is sponsored by the Dubuque County Master Gardeners. This educational event is occurring 7:30 am to 12 noon Saturday, March 23 at the NICC Town Clock Business Center. This event features nine session topics attendees can choose from including Understanding Your Compost, Love the Monarch, Vegetable Gardening 101, Common Tree and Shrub Health Issues, Planting Life Giving Landscapes, Hydrangeas, Herbs for Health and Healing, Fruit Trees, and School Gardens. Early registration is available until March 15 for $20. Late and walk in registration is $25, cash or check only. Light morning refreshments will be provided.
