Southwest Health Hosts Domestic Violence Awareness 5K Color Run

Southwest Health is excited to announce a Domestic Violence Awareness 5K Color Run, on Saturday, October 5 at 9:00 AM. This event, organized in partnership with Family Advocates, aims to raise awareness and support for those affected by domestic violence. The Color Run will include participants of all ages who can run or walk through a colorful course. Each checkpoint will shower runners and walkers with a burst of colored powder, creating a fun and visually stunning experience while promoting this serious cause.

Participants can register to run or walk or purchase a t-shirt to support the event at Southwest Health’s Color Run page. The registration deadline is September 25, so interested individuals are encouraged to sign up soon to ensure their spot and t-shirt. The Color Run is open to everyone, from runners to casual walkers. All proceeds will go towards supporting Family Advocates and their critical work in providing resources and assistance to survivors of domestic violence.

For more information and to register for the run/walk, or purchase a t-shirt to support the event, visit Southwesthealth.org/color-run.  Registration closes on September 25.
