Shullsburg welcomes fall by celebrating the cheese heritage of the city with experiences the whole family can enjoy – for free. Held on the town’s historic downtown Water Street, the street will be closed to motorized traffic for the day so you can enjoy the festival, the town and its history in full glory on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 9 AM to 4 PM. Come and experience the firemen’s breakfast, food and craft vendors, library book sale, mac- n-cheese tasting, live music, wine and cheese tastings and of course cheese curds.
Enjoy watching and/or participating in cheese contests, laser tag, pedal tractor pulling and many other kid’s activities. Music will fill the air from the Shullsburg Music Department, Tom Black, a local favorite and this year’s headliner Gin Chocolate and Bottle Rockets from Madison.
