Tale about a snob and a slob on the road who keep running into trouble- and each other – on their respective way home for Thanksgiving after they get stuck in Wichita when they were enroute to Chicago. Rated R.
Friday, December 12, 7:30pm: The Holiday (2006) starring Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Jack Black, and Eli Wallach. An American and a Brit, whose love lives are askew, vacation in each other’s homes and meet the men of their dreams in this romantic comedy. Rated PG-13.
Sunday, December 21, 2:00pm: Home Alone (1990) starring Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, John Heard, Robert Blossom, and Catherine O’Hara. When eight-year-old Kevin McCallister’s family rushes off on a holiday trip to Paris three days before Christmas, they accidentally leave the youngster behind to deck the halls with a barrage of booby traps to keep out a bumbling pair of burglars who have discovered that this tough little tyke is home alone. Rated PG.
