The Field of Dreams Movie Site will host a Legends for Youth free baseball clinic for kids, hosted by the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association on Saturday, September 15 at 11 a.m. The clinic is open to children ages 6-16. Former MLB players will teach the fundamentals of the game from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children under the age of 13 who are signing up for Session 1 must have their registration completed by a parent or guardian. All attendees must register prior to the event.
Attendees should arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled start time equipped with a glove, bat, helmet, water bottle and whatever else you feel you’ll need. Legends for Youth is a charitable program running over 150 events a year nationwide, with the mission of promoting the game of baseball to America’s youth using positive sports images and personalities.
