Dubuque Oktoberfest, the annual celebration of German and Slavic heritages, celebrates its 16th year on Saturday, September 13, 2025, 11 AM to 5 PM at the Q Casino + Resort’s Back Waters Stage.
All are welcome to attend the festival, which includes music, food, drinks, entertainment and games, including the ever-popular Wiener Dog Races and Parade, sponsored by Simmons Pet Food, and the Stein Holding Contest. Admission is free to Dubuque Oktoberfest, but donations are welcome at the gate for Camp Albrecht Acres, which receives 100% of the proceeds.
Two large festival tents will be on the grounds so Dubuque Oktoberfest happens rain or shine.

11 AM to 5 PM Food stand, German food truck – Chew on This, Sour Joe’s food truck serving up the Central European food, Kolaches, ice cream treats by Delaney’s Ice Cream, beverages, and games will be available all day.
