Clarke University invites the community to attend free performances of Frankenstein Slept Here. Performances will be held in Terence Donaghue Hall at 7 PM on April 4 and 5, with a 2 PM matinee on Sunday, April 6.
In this one-act play, Baroness Frankenstein has opened her castle to all those who can’t cope with the outside world, including a descendant of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Medusa, Vampira, the Mummy, the mad Igor, a Phantom Bride, and the Invisible Man. When an American society matron comes to visit, what can the Baroness do but have the creatures pose as servants? The comedic, family-friendly production is student-led, including direction, acting, stage design and more by members of the Cast & Crew Theatre Club.
Cast & Crew is also offering a unique opportunity to area high school students with an interest in theatre. Simply contact the Clarke University Admissions team for an opportunity to attend a dress rehearsal, speak with members of Cast & Crew, and learn more about life at Clarke.
