Carnegie-Stout Library’s Art @ your library® Show opens with a reception for the artists at the Library’s second floor rotunda from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, Friday, April 5, 2024. This show features three talented local artists John Bly, Mary Lee Marting, and Robert Valentine. Marting shares her talents in jewel making gemstone and cultured pearl pieces. Bly shows his nature themed acrylic paintings, some with a unique raised 3-D technique. Valentine shares his abstract paintings that are full of color and meaning. Meet the artists and shop for a unique gift while supporting local artists. Music provided by the faculty of Northeast Iowa School of Music. The show is open during library hours through May 28, 2024.
