Bell Tower Theater Announces 18th-Annual Kids-For-Kids Production

The Bell Tower Theater is pleased to announce the 18th annual kids-for-kids production: Disney Descendants The Musical directed by Michelle Blanchard.

Based on the popular Disney Channel Original Movies, this brand-new musical is jam-packed with comedy, adventure, Disney characters, and hit songs from the films. Imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost—home of the most infamous villains who ever lived–the teenaged children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil have never ventured off the island… until now. When the four troublemakers are sent to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes, they have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?

The show will be performed by two casts of 41 kids each, ages 7 to 18, and supported by a backstage crew that includes 70 kids ages 7 to 18 who are running lights and sound, making props and costumes, building sets and working at the concession stand.

The Merlin Cast will perform Thursday, July 10 at 7 PM; Friday, July 11 at 7 PM; Saturday, July 12 at 7 PM; Thursday, July 17 at 7 PM and Saturday, July 19 at 2 PM. The Sherwood Cast will perform Friday, July 11 at 10:30 AM; Saturday, July 12 at 2 PM; Sunday, July 13 at 2 PM; Wednesday, July 16 at 7 PM; Friday, July 18 at 7 PM and Saturday, July 19 at 7 PM. All tickets are $12.

The Bell Tower Theater is in Fountain Park at 2728 Asbury Road in the city’s vibrant West End just minutes from both Highway 20 and the Northwest Arterial. For information and to purchase tickets call 563-588-3377 or visit us online at BelltowerTheater.net.
