United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States (UWDATS) is happy to announce the allocation of $850,000 in grant awards to 31 nonprofit organizations, offering programs that impact the health, education and financial stability of their 10-county, tri-state coverage area. This is the second year of a two-year grant cycle.
United Way continues to offer the community additional supports such as the 2-1-1 Information and Referral line that saw a dramatic spike in utilization in 2020, the Get Connected Volunteer Portal, and Sprout Into Reading program, to name a few.
Last year, over 42,000 people were impacted by United Way funding. There are still opportunities for United Way giving to help support this year’s campaign; however, new allocations for organizations will begin June 1, 2021.
