Student Oceans Conference Aims to Inspire Action

The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium will be hosting a Student Oceans Conference from Thursday, September 26 through Friday, September 27, 2019, for regional high school students. The two-day watershed workshop is designed to inspire watershed stewardship ethics and will take students throughout the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium, other Dubuque County locations, and on the Mississippi River.

The cost to attend the two-day conference is $65 per student or chaperone and includes all meals and overnight accommodations. Additionally, schools are invited to apply for transportation funding through the River Museum and made possible through the generosity of the John Deere Foundation.
