The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium has been selected as one of five nonprofit organizations for the first cycle of the Target Circle Partnership Program for 2023, a one-time opportunity for Target Circle members to vote for the River Museum and earn a share of a $15,000 donation from Target.
Now through March 31, 2023, Target Circle members can cast their votes earned via Target purchases with a RedCard or the Target Circle barcode towards the nonprofit of their choice, based on their set store location online. The River Museum is among the contending nonprofits for the following Target store locations:
West Burlington, Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, Davenport, Dubuque, Fort Dodge, Coralville, Mason City, Sioux City, Moline, and Waterloo.
At the end of the voting cycle, all nonprofits will be awarded a share of $15,000.
Other nonprofits for the cycle include the Boys & Girls Club of Siouxland (Sioux City, IA), the National Women’s Health Network, The Dr. James Cameron Legacy Foundation Inc., and Friends of the Animal Center Foundation. The River Museum is the only locally operated nonprofit on the ballot. Each quarter, five new nonprofits are on the ballot and an organization cannot be selected again.
To vote, Target Circle members log into their account either online or in the app and select the Target Circle icon in the menu. At the bottom of the menu is a “Community Support” tab, showing the number of available votes and a link to cast votes.
