The recipients for the 2021 Molony Foundation scholarships are Elizabeth Wessel, Beckman Catholic High School; Vanessa Gaul, Western Dubuque High School; Brody Supple, Cascade High School; and Madelyn Deutsch, Hempstead High School.
In May, Wessel and Gaul received the Molony Foundation Nursing Scholarship, given to individuals pursuing a career in nursing.
Each received a $2,500 scholarship that can be used at a two-year or four-year college for college tuition, or tuition related expenses such as books.
Supple and Deutsch were awarded $1000 through the Josie (Molony) & Ray Feeney scholarship. This scholarship encourages 4-H members to advance into post-high school education at a recognized two-year or four-year college or university.
The Molony Foundation is dedicated to supporting entities within the community that reflect values of self-reliance, ambition, humility and honesty. The goal is to encourage and enable students to advance into post-high school education at a recognized two-year or four-year college or university. These scholarships are awarded annually.
