Hills & Dales is pleased to recognize Theisen’s Home-Farm-Auto for their contribution of a $4,000 grant given through the Theisen’s More for Your Community Program, made possible through a partnership with the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque.
Through the generosity of this grant, Hills & Dales was able to fund the start-up costs for making the transition to a new safety management program called Safety-Care in 2018. Hills & Dales supports a large number of children and other individuals with behavioral challenges related to their communication impairments and disabilities. These individuals may at times become a risk to themselves or others. The Safety-Care training for staff aims at reducing injuries to residents or clients and their peers, and reduces the risk and severity of potential staff injuries.
