DB&T and HTLF Contribute $100,000 to Five Dubuque-Based Nonprofits

Dubuque Bank and Trust and HTLF (Heartland Financial USA, Inc., NASDAQ: HTLF) announced $100,000 in donations to five local, Dubuque-based nonprofits: Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dubuque, Dubuque Dream Center, Fountain of Youth, Steeple Square, and United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States. Each organization will be provided with a $20,000 donation to help positively impact members of the community.

The donations reinforce HTLF’s commitment to a strong and sizable presence in Dubuque and are in addition to the millions of dollars invested in renovating, updating, and relocating employees to 700 Locust.

Throughout the year, DB&T and HTLF provide support to our community both financially as well as with time and talents. Employees are provided one full paid day every year to volunteer for community service. In 2022, our employees served on over 50 community boards, volunteered over 2,000 hours of service, and donated to more than 80 local nonprofits.

Together, these nonprofits help serve many individuals in the downtown and north end of Dubuque. From helping local students with youth enrichment and school connections at the Dream Center, to providing diversity and equity training to local businesses and groups from the Fountain of Youth, to helping preserve and create resources for individuals at one of Dubuque’s iconic centers at Steeple Square, this donation will help many individuals in the Greater Dubuque area receive important resources and services.
