Friday Footpaths at Sinsinawa Mound Invites Guests to Free Group Walks

Step into nature and start your weekend with community, conversation, and beautiful views at Sinsinawa Mound Fridays in June and July at 5:30 PM. Our “Friday Footpath” walks are free and open to the public. The group will gather outside the Stone Building for a relaxed hike across the scenic trails and peaceful grounds of the Mound. Each week offers a different route, pace, and experience, making every gathering a new adventure. Whether participants come for the exercise, the friendships, or simply a chance to unplug, this weekly hike is a welcoming space to connect with others and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Bring a friend—or come meet new ones—as we explore together weekly. End times are flexible and shaped by the group, so guests can stay as long as each feels comfortable and enjoy wherever the trail takes the conversations and comradery. Please note that some trails include uneven terrain, hills, and natural surfaces. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. All ages and experience levels are welcome.
