Welu Inc invites the Tri-State community to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary at “INKspiration for Freedom,” a special open-house style community event taking place Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Welu Inc, located at 1685 Central Avenue in Dubuque.
The event celebrates 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence while highlighting the powerful role print has played throughout history in sharing ideas, inspiring movements, preserving stories, and connecting communities.
Guests will enjoy an afternoon filled with creativity, local collaboration, history, and behind-the-scenes access to one of Dubuque’s longstanding print companies.
Event highlights include:
- Guided tours of the Welu print facility
- Student-designed America 250 poster printed live
- Winning student designer presentation
- Hangry Hobo food truck
- Delaney’s Ice Cream
- Limited-edition posters available for purchase, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the local Veterans Freedom Center
