“We’re incredibly grateful to every artist who participated and shared their creativity with us,” shared Kathleen Hoeper, DSO’s Director of Marketing. “This year’s submissions showed remarkable range and thoughtfulness. Seeing how artists of all ages respond to the music is both inspiring and a powerful reminder of how deeply the arts connect us.”
Winners receive a Family Membership to the Dubuque Museum of Art and tickets to the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra’s performance of “Symphonic Landscapes” on February 28 and March 1, 2026. Winners’ art will serve as cover art for the DSO’s concert program book that weekend. For concert tickets and information, visit DubuqueSymphony.org.
All works will be displayed the “The Color of Music” Exhibition, Dubuque Museum of Art (1000 Jackson St, Suite 105) which opens Friday, March 6, 2026, from 4-7 PM. The public is invited to attend.
